Tailgating in Death Valley

Patriot fans, join us for tailgating in the North endzone of Death Valley prior to the Southwestern game on 09/14. Bring your lawn chair, cornhole boards, and beverage of choice (Sheriff Curt Folger reminds you that Lincoln County is a dry county). There will be grilling, games, and full contact tackling drills ran by Johnny Coulter. Come and enjoy the fun. More updates to follow so check back often.....

hazmit, would it be possible to park inside the fence in the north endzone (near the baseball outfield fence) and tailgate there? could someone check with the HS administration. i think that would be great. and hopefully start a tradition that would get people to come early. also, if we could do this maybe we could do like UK and have a PATS WALK when the players first come to the field to warm up. wouldn't it be great for the guys to have a bunch of fans cheering for them as they take the field for warmups? Thought that was a big lift at Mercer. our stands seem so far from the field sometimes

I spoke with the athletic director today and we will not be able to park down inside the fence. But we can pull down there and unload anything we haul. Patriot Sports is going to have a large tent. I think we should bring chairs and sit down close to the field.

Breaking news...Former UK punter Jason Todd is going to be in attendance. State Farm Insurance will be sponsoring a punting competition against JT and the winner will receive a free travel mug. The prizes just keep getting better so stay tuned. Jason will also be signing autographs and showing off his super bowl rings.

After runriot's suggestion, I talked with Coach French last night and we will be able to do the PATS WALK when the players come out on the field for warmups. Spread the word and let's get everybody down to welcome our team out on the field.
