SEASON ENDING INJURY
Just wanted to let everybody know that the injury to nathan's knee is a broken kneecap. I was told that he needs surgury to fix it. But the worst thing is, he's out for the season. This is really bad news! With everything that he's gone through, this just SUCKS !!!! Let's keep him in our prayers. Nathan is going to UK monday . Pray for the family too

Anyone who doesnt feel for this young man is not human. very, very few people his age are faced with one millionth the obstacles. you are in my prayers Nathan. Hope for the best and know that you will be successful in life no matter the outcome of this. Just remember, God wont put more on you than you can carry.
Talked with Mike yesterday and he said that Nathan was undergoing the surgery this morning ( 9-18 ) that will require a wire and two screws to be placed in his kneecap. He said that the expected rehab was 4-6 months. He seemed to be in pretty good spirits, and said that Nathan was coping with it pretty well also. Nathan wants to go into engineering and said that most of the football scholarships he would have been looking at would not have had an engineering program, so he would still have to get his engineering degree once he got through. ( Lemonade from Lemons ) This kid has been through alot and to still have that kind of attitude says alot about him and the way that he was raised.
Just wanted to let everybody know and keep Nathan in your thoughts and prayers.
Nathan #64, Thoughts and prayers are with you today...Hoping all goes well with surgery....and a healthy, speedy recovery.

How about giving this kid the credit he deserves and retiring his jersey. I would even like to see the players have his number on their helmet.
