Lincoln did a good job Saturday, still need to work hard to get ready for Mercer. Offense & Defense still needs
some tweaking, receivers caught the ball well. I think our passing game could be huge for our offense.

We better run some different plays if we want to beat Mercer. The passing game is there Golden, but our offensive coordinator won't call the plays. When DB's line up 10 yards from receivers, it obvious that the quick slant will be there. Especially with receivers like Young and Keeton, who I would have in the game at the same time.

What happened to Clevenger? need to run and gun. Thats what will work when you dont have the weapons that we had last year. should have thrown more Saturday, and will need to throw more this week.
Mercer is not as good as last year, and this could be for home field in district. sounds funny to say that this early in year, but could be true.

We should have beat that team by 3 touchdowns. That was the worst Bardstown team I have seen in a long time. Up front, Lincoln looks pretty solid...and will need it against Mercer who has a big running back that Marty gave it to 32 times Friday. Good news for us, Marty's teams never throw the ball much. If our OC will venture out from the trap and blast and utilize the two kids that don't drop balls a little more often, we will do well against Mercer. Mercer will stop the run. We have big kids but no speed at RB. In my opinion, Mercer did not play well against Bardstown. Defense played well, except for the big plays. Offense needs to eliminate the mental mistakes and venture out on the play calling.
