Walking all over Mercer's field after that victory felt great. If anyone missed it, the feeling on the field was electrifying. The players were walking around like heroes, coaches secretly gloating inside, parents congratulating their kids, Marty crying, and me soaking all of it in like a true fan. I saw most of the heroes walking away after the sweet victory with their girlfriends in tow, gotta love the Friday night lights.
