What does everyone think of Lincoln's L? I personally liked the old school block L. I just can't get into this new L as much as I try. It started off trying to look like Louisville's old english L and then we ended up with a L with wings flying away. I wish we would reconsider the whole uniform again...I liked it old school red and white only. Sound off you fashionistas, don't act like uniforms don't matter, it's the only reason Oregon wins any football games at all.

I'm with you 100% on returning to the block L. This L looks too much like the Loserville Cardinals. I would like to see our uniforms look more like Nebraska with only red and white.
I can't stand the new L, it makes me want to puke. The old L was recognizable all over the state as the Lincoln Football L. I don't understand why French ever changed it. The new L has no intimidation factor.
I do favor keeping blue in our uniforms though.
you bunch of whiners. uniforms, that is all you have to sit around and worry about. gimme a break. play ball, play hard, and give it your all. send them out there in sweats and t-shirts so long as we win. maybe we can put some sequins on the uni's so we are fashionable for the rico suaves of the world.

I do not like the new L at all. They should go back to the block L. Or may be a better idea would be to have an interlocking LC so all the sports would have the same logo.
Also what is the deal with blue uniforms? I do not like blue being a main color to any Lincoln Uniforn, the band wearing a blue shirts to the games, it makes no sense. The Colors are Red, White and Blue . . . meaning that blue is an accent color for outling numbers, not the main color.
I agree with whitecolts, the interlocking LC is sweet. I believe the baseball team had it last year or the year before. I like the idea of all sports using the same logo. whitecolts...do you work for nike or what, great ideas man...or maybe you just watch alot of HGTV.
No I do not work for Nike, but wish I did. I just think about it at games when I remeber how much I dislike the "New L", actually I will not buy shirts or hats with the new L.

is this a sports site or a fashion site. I must have logged in wrong. Lincoln is playing awesome and all you can do is talk about uniforms. I dont have a user name or whatever or I would leave it. but nevermind, I am going back to sites where they actually talk about things that matter. Maybe you "guys" can get into updating the locker room next week.
Oh and for those leave your name comments, maybe everyone could use their real name instead of screen names.
Again I'll repeat...I will talk about whatever I want. If you don't like it, start your own site. I agree with you about one thing, Lincoln is playing great, that's why I have written numerous "great job boys" blogs to let them know that. My "great job boys" blogs way out-number my fashion tips, but so sorry to let you die hards down. This is a free country, so good luck at those other sites. For the record, my name is Vance Mitchell.
