Vote for Lincoln vs. Scott as the Channel 36 game of the week!!!

Once again it's on...Channel 36 has the Lincoln County vs. Scott County as one of the potentials for game of the week. Last week the Patriot faithful came alive to blow the WTVQ website up for the win. This week we have a tough challenge from the Danville vs. Frankfort game (it will be great to beat Danville at anything) so we need to get the word out. Tell everyone you know to vote and remember you can vote every hour. Here is the link: http://www.wtvq.com/midatlantic/tvq/sports/gridiron_blitz.html

Congrats to Lincoln County, we won game of the week for the second straight week. We had over 800 votes. If they put us on again, I think we could get 1000. I hope they get some great coverage of us whipping a big city school.

I sent WTVQ the following comment hoping to get Lincoln the respect they deserve, just thought you guys might want to read...

Lincoln County was nominated for the gridiron blitz game of the week last week, and I was a little suprised that there wasn't more coverage of the district championship deciding game. I looked this week for highlights from the game in the video section but found nothing. I don't know how a game can be featured as "game of the week" and not have any highlights? We have promoted the gridiron blitz game of the week this week as well, and you can tell we won with over 800 votes. This means a lot of traffic on your website and more people tuning in to WTVQ, so I hope we have a little more coverage this week. I am sure we will just because we are playing Scott County. Lincoln is playing great this year and they deserve the same amount (if not more since they won the contest) of coverage as the Lexington schools. Thank you.

I'm glad you people in Lincoln Co. got both of your computers working so you can sit there and vote hour after hour on some meaningless sports coverage that on for a total of 2 minutes when noboby else in the state is watching on a friday night. OH, I forgot, this is Lincoln Co. I guess everyone in the community probably huddles around the ONE big screen TV that someone was lucky enough to buy with their lottery winning and watches to hopefully see somebody they know at the game. (That's how Lincoln Countian's define becoming famous)

Well I hope you don't shed too many tears when Scott Co. gives you a thrashing tonight. Don't forget to turn of that TV so it doesn't break down before next weeks game. I know you'll try to fix that vote as well.
