Paint the Town Red

Lets see this county and Stanford really get in gear for homecoming. If you know someone who owns a building or business in downtown Stanford, lets get them to decorate, or if they cant or dont have time see if they will let someone decorate for them. Lets really get this place fired up for Friday. What else could you want, homecoming, first place in district on the line, home field in playoffs. Maybe the pep club from the HS could get some people to volunteer to help decorate any store fronts in downtown that the owner cant decorate.
We also need a big crowd downtown for the parade on Friday. We are not allowed to throw candy in Stanford anymore, so watch out for the police if you have candy. But we can still have a big show and really let our kids know how proud we are of them. If you work in Stanford, be on the street at parade time and show your support. Everyone loves a parade, and what better reason or time to roll out the red in Stanford.
