The Pulaski County @ Lincoln County game scheduled for this Friday night has been cancelled due to illness in the school system. All school activities have been cancelled until at least Monday. No word yet on whether or not the game will be rescheduled. It would seem necessary since it's a district game.
Other than that, the school stands to lose out on the gate and concessions if the game isn't played. None if this really matters in the big picture though, the main thing right now is getting everyone healthy. There is a lot of illness floating around Lincoln County.
The game will go down as a forfeit (1-0 in the record book) if it is not played. It's going to be hard to find a make up date too. LC has already used their bye week this season. It was used on the first week of the year. Pulaski County still has their bye week, but LC has a non-district game against Garrard scheduled that week.
As of now, the possibilities to me are this:
1. Play the game next Monday.
2. Cancel the Garrard game and play Pulaski County last week of the year (because PC is a district game). But you still lose the gate/concessions.
3. Forfeit the game.
