Lincoln runs record to 8-3 with win over Boyle

Impressive win by the boys without Ethan Spurlin. We have Boyle at home in 2 weeks, we need to pack the gym and beat them by 40. Come on PST bloggers everyone is excited about Lincoln basketball but us. I look for Lincoln to win a bunch of games in the next 2 months. They are definitely the class of the 12th Region. And with the girls playing so well so quickly, I think there may be a shot at both teams going to the Sweet Sixteen.

Great points. I thought the boys played well against Boyle. The press was effective and several players stepped up their rebounding effort with Spurlin out. The Girls also played well. holding Boyle to only 10 points at half time. I listened to the girls first half on the new radio station 102.9 WPBK-FM. I arrived for the second half of the girls game and liked the high low action they had in the post.

gilbert came in off the bench and had 5 rebounds and six points, hopefully he is getting out of football mode, we certainly need some bench players to step up, ralston and keeton have tendency to get in foul trouble, won't it be great if boys and girls make it to state since football has been there this year, have all 3 ever made it to state in the same year?

Football didn't make it too "state". They made it to the semifinals.

The football team has made it to the state championship game twice.

Actually the football team didn't officially make it to state. They made it to the state semifinals. It was not an ignorant comment,it was true. Unless you play in Louisville for the state championship, it is not considered going to state. The game between Lincoln and JCHS was not considered to be a state tournmanet game. It was a regional game, there is a difference in basketball and football.

In basketball, going to the sweet sixteen is considered going to state, because it is called the state tournament.

It is regarded differently in both sports.

I'm back beyotches!!!!!!!After a long medical leave of absence due to being financially raped at Christmas, Hazmit is back in action. I have had a hard time letting go of football season, but I am now officially doing that. I will be at every home game from here on out. I got caught up with all of the attention that ESPN was giving me due to the tremendous job I did of covering football that I had Britney Spears moment and forgot who I was. I'm a Patriot fan and no matter how much money ESPN throws at me, I am here for the Patriots. If you cried now and that speech meant anything to you at all, please forward it to ESPN and tell them you would like to see me with my own show. HAZMIT
