What a crazy and exciting game. Lincoln jumped out to a 23-9 lead against the 6th ranked Lexington Catholic University. Catholic came roaring back and took a 20pt lead in the third quarter. Lincoln then made another run and got it down to 3 in the 4th quarter, but eventually fell 76-63. Catholic outscored the Pats by 10 the last two minutes.
Great games from Zach Hill and Trenton Edgington. Hill got the start, and didn't disappoint. I've been wanting to see him get more minutes all year. He is a great young talent, and an energy player. Probably the best pure rebounder on the team. Trenton came in and hit a big three in the 4th quarter.
Vee Sanford had 17 for Vee Sanford.

I dont think you should be so fast to talk about other schools recruiting. Jackson and LC has been known to recruit a bit themselves.
Yeah, but looking at who have gotten, evidently we are not very good at it.

No what is really comical is you have a kid a few years ago who played at Garrard then at Danville and then at LC.Parents lived in Garrard and mother was employed by the Garrard school system. Say it didnt happen.
still hard to beat catholic..not as good as they were earlier this decade though, when they really recruited, i dont think they do it as much now. Jackson may have got one to come over but he wasnt a factor, but this is nothing like it was when he was at University Heights..thats when he had the real recruits rolling in.

Coach Jackson gets one kid... Chase Overstreet to come in and play for us... We make the State tournament for the first time in 20 years and we still have people that don't like it.
IT IS 1 KID! I think Lincoln would have won the region with or without Chase. But we were certainly better with him on the roster. It made us that much deeper.
Catholic recruits everybody. Lincoln has a 15 man roster right now that consists of home grown talent.
Try to enjoy it and let go of the hate people.
Catholic doesn't recruit like they did at all when haney was there. If you think these kids they have now are "big time recruits" then your wrong. Do they even have any
d1 talent on there team now? Scott county does more than them.
However, its alot different recruiting at a private school than from a public one. Its really bad if a public one does so.
