The girls and boys both have a big weekend ahead, and I'm not referring to Valentines day.
Both squads are in the drivers seat in the 45th district. It's simple, you win out and you are the one seed. The quest starts tonight in Danville, where at 6pm the girls will take on the Lady Admirals. The Lady Pats have won 11 or their last 12, and are undefeated in the 45th district and in the 12th region. They have totally dominated in district play. Their closest game was a fifteen point victory over Garrard nearly a month ago.
The boys are in the drivers seat too. Danville beat Garrard last week, opening the door for Lincoln County. If the Pats can beat Danville and Boyle they are the 1 seed. LC has split the two games against Danville this season. Losing by a buzzer beater in a Christmas tournament, and a blow out victory in Stanford. LC has been playing well, with the exception of the loss on Tuesday night.
I fully expect both squads to take care of business.
