Lincoln Easily Defeats Pulaski

The Lincoln County Patriots seem to be playing their best ball of the season, at just the right time. The Pats won their first game of 2009 over Danville in blowout fashion, and they did the same tonight in Somerset defeating PC 73-53.

The Pats led the entire game, by as many as 28 pts early in the 3rd. It was good to see some of the other guys step up, and show that the Pats can win without Ethan Spurlin dropping 30. The win puts LC at 8-5 on the season, with only one loss within the 12th region. The loss dropped PC to 8-8.

Here is a look at the scoring:

Spurlin-6
Edgington-20
Allison-9
Long-9
Gilbert-18
Wills-5
Ellis-3
Hill-3

Good job guys! Glad to see Gilbert get in on the scoring. And to think that he was cut in middle school. Goes to show you that hard work will pay off.
