The car industry isn't the only thing struggling in Georgetown. The Scott County Lady Cardinals aren't having the best of seasons, and it didn't get any better tonight in Stanford.
The highly touted Lady Pats took care of business, defeating Scott County 65-49. The win ran LC's record to 13-3, the loss dropped Scott County to 5-10. Next up for the Lady Pats, Boyle County.

Very disapointed in the crowd tonite. You would think more people would support the #8 rated team in the state. But I guess the 5.00 ticket price might have something to do with it.
People were afraid the scoreboard wouldn't work I guess.
I was disappointed in the crowd also. People just will not support the girls, they will go home after the boys play after already paying their $5.00 in get in, as long as they go with us to state that is all that maters. GO LADY PATS!!!
Some just prefer the mens game over the womens game.
If it wasen't for the Men's team the Girl's team could not make it. The Girl's team does not make no money. 5 dollars to watch girls play is not right. Who paid for the girls to Florida ? The Boys team??
Actually the girls paid there own way to florida!!!! The boys still owe for there trip.I know this for a fact.
If you do not like the girls, then why read about them. Ignore it and just read about the boys.

Football pays for all sports, did at the start and still does.. Just ask Ralston, he will tell you..
i doubt if football paid for much this year and i don't see next year being much better!!!
Football pays for everything. Everyone needs to understand that.Golf,tennis,volleyball, baseball,softball,track etc..Yes basketball does bring in some money, but not enough...
there were only four homes games this year, couldn't have paid for much.....
yes there were only 4 home games but the stands were full and next will be better and if you are going to start dogging next year keep to yourself no one wants to here you.
the stands were NOT full, not dogging next year, but we just don't have the players, the only good thing is an easier schedule...not sold on settles defense either or his coaching! he gave up on this team after the fourth game and the players knew it!! you have to practice more than 2 days and study film, not just watch it.
what would you liked seen done? I think he has made some changes to his staff.
