We Can't Even Get Our Own Article

It has been a rough year for Lincoln, but man, this is a new low. Evident ally the Advocate Messenger doesn't think enough of the Patriots to give them their own game preview anymore.

Instead, they are grouping the Pats in with Casey County now. Talking about how they can both be spoilers. Come on, times are bad.... but Casey County. The same Casey County team that was blown out by Garrard. You know the rest of the story.

Oh well, if the A.M. thinks Lincoln Football is on the same level as Casey County it just shows how much they know about football. Lincoln would beat Casey by five or six touchdowns, not that it matters or will happen.

Well they do have the same record and Casey does have a District win.
Casey scoring 14 points per game and giving up 37. LC scoring 17 points per game and giving up 38, which is the most in the area. Not too much difference if you ask me.

Nobody asked you........but GC beat Casey by 35, LC beat GC by 20, LC would beat Casey by 55 if you use the math like you are.

this is off the subject but to have a successful varsity program you must have a strong senior class AND a strong supporting cast of juniors and sophomores. Look at LC for example the past couple of years.. in 2006 they had calhoun, miller, elliot etc. which made a strong senior class, to go along side them they had rogers, reed, brummett, walls, young etc. they were very successful that year. Last season LC had a strong junior class to go along side the strong senior class.. marcum, harris, gilbert, conatser, and edwards along with other juniors were a nice complement to the senior class. This season LC has a strong senior class, i would put them up against any in the area or state, but i believe the downfall is the junior and sophomore classes. They are very inexperienced and it has taken them 7 games to "come of age." I believe Lincoln will be a tough team the next couple of years due to the fact that a lot of sophomores and freshman are getting extended playing time on the varsity level. Go Pats!

i believe lincoln would smash casey..but going back to the second post you can't use that logic..team A beat team b, and team B beat team c, therefore team a would beat C..i could do that until it shows the Steelers getting beat by KSD
