In other area news, Mercer County has named Will Weaver as their new Head Coach. Weaver is leaving Madisonville-North Hopkins to accept the Mercer County job. He was 12-9 there in two seasons. He was an assistant at Ft. Campbell before accepting that job in Madisonville.
UPDATE
*Ok, so maybe Mercer doesn't have a new coach yet. Seems like Weaver got smart and decided not to make the move. Actually visiting Harrodsburg must of done him in, he was introduced and had said his goodbyes to his old team. LINK
*Looks like they are offerring the job to ex-Danville Admiral Shadon Brown now.

Third time's a charm, Mercer County Hired Bill Mason.

He didn't stay....
Mercer now has a new head coach Bill Mason. Mason, who served as the defensive coordinator under Marty Jaggers is now head coach.
