Before coming to Lincoln County last year, Coach Settles was the architect of a very successful Bullit East football program. A program he pretty much built from the ground up.
Well...... Bullit East is playing in the 4A state championship game in Louisville next week. Ironically enough, they would've been playing Boyle County if they hadn't got beat in the state semi's (the same round LC lost in last year) last night by Bell County. They will be playing an undefeated Bell Co. squad for the state championship.
So, it is more than obvious that Coach Settles knows how to build a program. We are very fortunate to have him in Lincoln County.

not so sure about that, boyle gets a new coach and they make it to semi-finals, bullitt east gets a new coach and they are in the finals, lincoln gets a new coach and only win one game!
So are you saying that if Settles stayed at Bullitt East they would not have made it as far as they have or what?

Well he needs to use some of the Frenchs D and get him a new OC..........If Lincoln is going to do anything.
french is top-notch on the "d", he should be at the college level, i have never seen a coach that knows defense like him....

Well if its not Basketball at Lincoln the school isn't going to put up any money. So good luck with a new OC. But the new seats in the Gum looks good with no one seating in them.....

the new seats in the gym were teresa wallace's doings......basketball doesn't get anything they want, their video equipment for taping is 10-15 years old, football has new state of the art video system....look at the H in high school above the stage, it has been glued or taped back on, and the sound system in the gym is worthless, probably 35 years old, and we all know how much money girls and boys basketball genereates!
I am really encouraged, Boyle Co. got a 13-1 record and AP coach of the year. LC got a 1 win season, really encouraging. Give me some more please!
