I expect both teams to be very good. The middle school is already off to an amazing start, the middle school girls were awesome.
The girls will be one of the favorites in a very difficult 12th region. The two-time defending champs will be a contender too.
Everyone post their predictions and thoughts on the upcoming season. We will preview the region and upcoming season(s) more as the season approaches.

8th grade girls finished their middle school career at 69-1, lost in the final four of the state tournament to defending champs lebanon, this is probably the best team to play at the middle school, and they began their middle school career as sixth graders, where previous teams started as seventh graders, this makes their record even more impressive!
The Girls rock
So will it be a repeat of previous years??? All of the Seniors on the bench with the underclassmen playing. Makes you wonder why the order girls continue to work as hard as they do...
there are only 2 seniors on the girls team this year!
So will those two sit the bench???
henderson is a starter, provided she stays injury free, the other one quit the team last year mid-season and returned this year, i'm not sure why she came back, but she will see little if any playing time....which there shouldn't be any discussion of her playing time...i wonder how she ever made the team
What about the boys? How do they look?
the other one that you speak of is a young lady that has paid her dues. she has worked just as hard as the other girls. i also wonder why she came back or better yet WHY would she want to?? Do the younger girls treat her with respect?
i don't know that she has earned respect, not someone i would want my daughter to look up to and that's all i will say.........
I was at LCMS last night and the 7th and 8th boys look good. Both beat Rock bad.
I didn't think that Rock was very good anyway. Have they played any competition yet?
8th grade boys have beat Wayne County by 30+.. Wayne was supposed to be one of the best in the state. They have also beat Lexington Catholic at Lex Cath. And lets don't forget that all 3 teams beat Boyle County by 40+ points.
YES LETS NOT FORGET (BEAT BOYLE BY 40+)
THAT JUST SOUNDS SO GOOD.
I LOVE IT
WOW! Didn't Wayne County have like 2 guys that are 16 and have been held back a couple years?
